Tim Sykes, a seasoned freelance writer for over 35 years, focuses on the "Golden Era" of hot rods, custom cars, and early drag racing. His vibrant work has graced hot rod magazines and automotive publications in Canada and the United States. Tim, an award-winning editor, led Canadian Street Rodder magazine to win the prestigious U.S. based Old Cars Weekly "Golden Quill" award in 1987 and 1988. He has authored 11 compelling automotive history books to date. Tim and his wife, Jill, have recently relocated to the historic Westmount area of London, Ontario, Canada.
